We've been studying matter and it's states over the past week or so. After learning the properties of solids, liquids, and gases, we had to be scientists. The students had to explore, test, and decide if Oobleck "The Mystery Substance" was a solid or liquid. Ask your child about the results he or she got! You might be very surprised!

A Brand New Year!
I cannot believe that we have been in school for close to a month now! I am so blessed to have a wonderful class! They are all so thoughtful and sweet!

Because we were the first third grade class to all have on our tennis shoes for P.E., we got to have a bowling party in the gym. The children really enjoyed it and worked so well together! |

Our class did an awesome job on their projects! They are all so wonderful! I know the judges had a really hard time. Congratulations to Savannah (1st place), Madison K. (2nd place), and Jacob (3rd place)!!!

We have been working so hard preparing for our Egypt Day! I hope that you all are able to come see your child. Our class is on the front row! They are so excited about the program and all of the songs! They are precious! Also, if you see Mrs. Copeland (Madison's mom), tell her "Thank you." She cut the pillowcases and spray painted her heart out! I know I could not have done all that she has for us!
